Windows 7 No battery is detected

I'm operating on a Dell Inspiron 1501 and since I installed Windows 7, the programme is telling me that my computer has no battery. The battery works normally but the indicator don't.
what can i do to resolve the problem?

PS: i installed windows 7 without battery

bump! same exact problem! only i installed with the battery in the laptop. please help this isnt my computer its a customers!
