Hello, I just upgraded from 64 bit vista to 64 bit windows 7 with the free upgrade program. The installation went fine, however I have no sound. I'm using an ASUS P5Q Pro Turbo motherboard, and the installation CD that came with the motherboard says it is not compatible with the operating system. I chose to do a clean install, after backing up most of my files. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Solution
Here they are...

Go to your Audio manufacturers site;

Link Removed

Fill in the blanks & it gives you your new driver for Win 7 64 bit.

Yours is the VT1708S model if you didn't know.

Hope this sorts you.

Wow, I can't believe that was it. I've been trying to find a fix for this for over 8 hours, went to about 3-4 different forums, and tried to fix it myself as much as I could. Thank you so much.

No worries mate

Welcome buddy!
