Troubleshooting Steps:

  2. Check Display Settings:
    • Right-click on the desktop and select "Screen resolution" to check if the correct display is selected.
  3. Update Drivers:
    • Make sure you have the latest drivers installed. NVIDIA's website usually has the latest drivers. You can also try uninstalling the current drivers and reinstalling them.
  4. Compatibility Mode:
    • Try running the driver installer in compatibility mode. Right-click on the installer, go to Properties, and then Compatibility tab. Set compatibility mode to Windows 7 and run the installer.
  5. BIOS Settings:
    • Check your BIOS settings to ensure that the primary display adapter is set correctly. You may need to set the graphics card as the primary display.
  6. Check Physical Connections:
    • Ensure the DVI cable is securely connected both on the monitor and the GPU. Try a different DVI cable or port if available.
  7. Monitor Settings:
    • Check the monitor settings, especially if the monitor has multiple input sources. Make sure it's set to the correct input source (DVI in this case).
  8. System Restore:
    • If the issue started after a recent change or update, you can try performing a System Restore to revert your system to a previous working state.

      Additional Tips:

      • If none of the above steps work, it might be worth testing the GPU in another computer to see if the issue persists.
      • Consider trying a different monitor to rule out any issues related to the monitor.
Running through these steps should help you identify and hopefully resolve the issue with your display output. Let me know if you need further assistance or if you have any other questions!
