Windows 7 Persistent BSOD Errors After HDD Replacement and Memory Tests—Need Help Troubleshooting

Hi guys, I've been having tons of problems with my computer.
I thought the HDD was the problem so I've replaced it but the BSOD errors persisted.
I also ran MemTest86+ and Windows Memory Diagnostic and they all came clean.
I am not running any anti-virus software and I almost always seem to get an error when decompressing/installing larger files.
Any help would be much appreciated.

It seems as if the intelppm.sys driver hasn't been updated. Could you please provide an exact link to the version that you downloaded?

Right now I'm thinking that this could be a hardware problem. As such the hardware diagnostics that I referred to earlier are becoming more important. Please start with the hard drive diagnostic and move on from there: Link Removed

If the system passes the hard drive tests, then please visit Windows Update and get all available updates (you only have 92 since SP1 - most systems have 130 to 140).

After that, then run Driver Verifier (again, as long as the hardware tests have passed) using these instructions: Link Removed

I've updated the intel driver using the Intel Driver Update Utility from the link you provided.
The HDD is not even 2 weeks old, I've bought it brand new so I doubt that it's anything wrong with it. I'll test it anyway.
I've also run MemTest86+ and the results came in clean.
I cannot install the latest microsoft updates because when I shut it down to complete installing the updates and turn it back on it will get stuck on the boot screen(without the windows logo animation) and I have to restore it to an earlier point to get it past the boot logo and thus removing the installed updates. I've done this several times already.
