Here is a photo of my W8 Virtual Machine (@ the moment). It's been different & may change again from time to time. Just you'd enjoy sharing a glimpse @ it.

There's no traditional Start Menu but, I hardly ever use the W7 Start Menue (now), so it's ok. Between Quick Launch, Pinning things & Win8's super-cool 'Start/Seach' (screen), the (old) Start Menue is not a tough loss or adjustment. Yes, I know, it can be put on 8 but, I'm lazy (just kidding). It's a trip discovering the manipulations possible in 8
