Windows 11 File Explorer navigation pane allows for some folders to be pinned, but not others. It allows desktop to be pinned, but not documents folder, pictures folder. I have changed several settings many times, but it does not fix it.

Can you provide a screenshot with what section in the navigation pane you are referencing? There are multiple sub-panes in the navigation pane.
