Hi guys, as the title says whenever i play football manager my laptop just crashes, randomly. It can be within 20mins or a couple of hours into the game, it varies. But it is getting more frequent. It has happened 3 times today.

If you have your system set up to create mini dump files after the crashes, you might post them. I would suggest you go to the BSOD forum. Are you actually getting a blue screen, or is the system just freezing?

It might be related to heat, or a video driver, or even memory. I would look for updates to the video driver and any updates for the game.

No i'm not getting any blue screen or freezing, it literally just switches off, only happens when i play football manager though.
Because its just crashing its not creating any dump files, is there anything i can do to find out what is causing the problem?
