Windows 7 Portable Devices problem

Hi. I noticed today that when I open the device manager, the portable devices have this yellow sign like there´s something wrong about it, and whe I open one of the devices, the status is: "This device cannot start. (Code 10)" and I guess that' what's blocking my access to the internet because I use one USB wireless network adapter,nd when I try to connect to the inernet it gives me a critial error and then the computer reboots. Please I really need help I don't know what to do

I'd first confirm that the USB network adapter and the warning in device manager are connected - unplug the adapter and check to see if it's removed. If that confirms it then you can proceed with checking for a driver for it. Did the adapter not come with a driver/install disk?
