Hi,
the only place i could think of there being a setting for this is perhaps the 'Autoplay' section. See if my screenshots help any. I've arrowed where the phones settings may be:
[ATTACH type="full" align="right" alt="An image from 'Prevent the photo app from launching when plugging iphone'. 1. Windows Control Panel showing Default Programs with an arrow pointing to file type settings.
2. Windows Control Panel AutoPlay settings with an arrow pointing to Devices section."]30745[/ATTACH]
Click 'Change default settings for media devices':

I've arrowed where your device is likely to be..

What was the command you used to uninstall? I have a friend who might be having this same issue -- thanks!
