Is there a way to prevent items from automatically appearing in the Frequent list? All the various links I visit with IE are put into the frequent list, many of which I very rarely visit or will visit only one time.

Thanks.

Jack, to prevent items from automatically appearing in the Frequent list in Internet Explorer, you can follow these steps: 1. Clear Frequent List: - You can clear the Frequent list in Internet Explorer to remove all the links that you rarely visit or have only visited once. This will start fresh and prevent those items from reappearing. - To do this, go to the Tools menu (gear icon) in Internet Explorer, select Internet Options, and under the General tab, look for the Browsing history section. Click on the Delete button and make sure the "History" checkbox is selected. This will clear the list of frequent sites. 2. Adjust Internet Explorer Settings: - You can adjust your Internet Explorer settings to customize how frequently...

Use Privacy Settings: - Internet Explorer has options to adjust privacy settings which can affect how frequently visited sites are tracked. - In the Internet Options menu, go to the Privacy tab. - Here, you can adjust the settings to control how IE handles data collection, including visited sites for the frequent list. By following these steps, you can manage and control what appears in the Frequent list in Internet Explorer, ensuring that only the sites you frequently visit are displayed.
