Windows 10 Printer-PC comm problems after Aug 2019 large update

I talked to tech support at Brother for hours. My printer was a paper weight after the update. Tried every fix with tech support. I went to a forum and one post said "Delete Updates". I tried this and the security update would not delete. Tried thinking about my problem. I thought, why not restore it back to an older version of Windows 10. 2 hours later, I had complete control again. Reverting back to older versions deletes all updates for newer versions. Worked for me. I will never allow and more updates. I don't need the headache.

You may want to notify both Microsoft Support and Brother Support. Old versions of operating systems, including Windows, don't have all the security and other updates of the latest version. I for one would not be willing to take the risk!
