My Samsung ML-2955ND printer is set on portrait but in Excel and Jpeg documents it prints in landscape on the left hand side of the page?

It sounds like there might be a setting misalignment between your printer and the document settings. Here are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot this issue with your Samsung ML-2955ND printer:

### Troubleshooting Steps:

1. Check Printer Settings:
- Make sure that the printer settings on your computer match the settings on the printer itself. Check the default settings for page orientation (portrait or landscape) in both the printer properties and Excel/JPEG document settings.

2. Document Page Setup:
- In Excel, go to "Page Layout" > "Orientation" and ensure that it is set to "Portrait" for the document you want to print.
- For JPEG documents, ensure that any image editing software you are using also has the correct orientation set.

3. Printer Properties:
- Access the printer properties on your computer by going to Control Panel > Devices and Printers, then right-click on your Samsung ML-2955ND printer and select "Printer Properties".
- Verify that the default paper size and orientation settings match the document settings.

4. Print Preview:
- Before printing, always check the print preview to see how your document will be printed. This can help identify any orientation issues before printing.

5. Driver Update:
- Ensure that your printer driver is up to date. Visit the Samsung support website to download the latest driver for your printer model.

6. Test Print:
- Print a test page with a simple document to see if the issue persists. This can help determine if the problem is specific to certain types of documents.

7. Reset Printer:
- If none of the above steps work, try resetting your printer to its default settings. Refer to the printer manual for instructions on how to reset the printer to factory settings.

By following these steps, you should be able to resolve the issue with your printer printing in landscape mode for Excel and JPEG documents. If the issue persists, consider reaching out to Samsung customer support for further assistance.
