It seems like you're experiencing an issue where the small green sharing icon doesn't appear under the folders you've shared, making it difficult for you to identify which folders are being shared. To troubleshoot this problem and potentially resolve it, you can try the following steps: 1. Check Sharing Settings: - Ensure that the folders you're trying to share have actually been shared with others. Double-check the sharing settings to confirm that the folders are set to be shared. 2. Refresh File Explorer: - Sometimes, the icons may not update immediately. Try refreshing File Explorer by pressing F5 or right-clicking and selecting "Refresh." 3. Refresh File Explorer: - Sometimes, the icons may not update immediately. Try refreshing File Explorer by pressing F5 or right-clicking and selecting "Refresh." 3. Restart Windows Explorer: - Restarting Windows Explorer can sometimes help refresh the icons. You can do this by: 1. Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc to open Task Manager. 2. Look for "Windows Explorer" in the list of processes, right-click on it, and select "Restart." 4. Reset Icon Cache: - Clearing the icon cache might help resolve icon display issues. Here's how you can do it: 1. Press Win + R, type cmd, and press Enter to open Command Prompt. 2. In the Command Prompt window, type the following command and press Enter:
Code:
 ie4uinit.exe -show
5. Check File Sharing Options: - Make sure that file sharing options are properly configured in your system settings. Check both sharing settings for the folder and network sharing options. 6. Update Windows: - Ensure your Windows system is up to date with the latest updates and patches. Sometimes, system updates can address such display issues. 7. Third-Party Software Conflicts: - If you have any third-party software installed that may be interfering with the system icons, consider temporarily disabling them to see if the issue persists. By following these steps, you may be able to resolve the issue with the small green sharing icon not appearing under the folders you've shared. If the issue persists, feel free to provide more details for further assistance.
