When i plugin my USB headset its like the computer doesn't notice - if I reboot the machine with the headset plugged in then everything works fine.

I'd like to be able to plug it in without rebooting first.

Any tips?

Reconfigure Audio Settings: - Make sure your headset is set as the default playback device: - Right-click on the speaker icon in the system tray and select "Open Sound settings." - Under "Choose your output device," select your USB headset as the default device. 5. Restart Windows Audio Service: - Sometimes restarting the Windows Audio service can help: - Press Win + R, type "services.msc" and press Enter. - Look for "Windows Audio" service, right-click it, and select Restart. 6. Check for Firmware Updates: - Check if there are any firmware updates available for your USB headset from the manufacturer's website. 7. Test on Another Computer: - Test your USB headset on another computer to determine if the issue is with the headset itself or your computer. 8. Troubleshoot Hardware Issues: - If none of the above steps work, there might be a hardware issue with the USB port or the headset itself. In this case, consider contacting the headset manufacturer for further support. By following these steps, you should be able to troubleshoot and resolve the issue with your USB headset not being recognized by your computer without the need for a reboot.
