You can perform a "clean" install even with an upgrade DVD.

Just choose the second box dows that says advanced.

my computer wont load anything... Like it has no OS on it at all
ive done the upgrade and it lasted a week and then it went haywire and hit bluescreen and .. NO more OS

so i need to clean install something and delete partition

Did it boot from the DVD the first time you tried to install?

There's no reason it won't boot again, just by putting in the DVD and rebooting.

first install the PC was running vista and i ran disc on the dekstop as a program

Where did you get the disk and is it an ISO file'

Did you purchase it

Were there two disks, one for 32-bit and the second for 64-bit?
