I have exported the emails and now I want to import them in the new OS. I have all necessarily accounts and folders but emails are imported in a new folder named "Storage folders".

How to do: emails would import into accounts folders?

Solution
To import emails into the respective account folders rather than a new folder named "Storage folders," you can typically follow these steps based on the email client you are using. Here are general steps that should apply to most email clients: 1. Prepare the Emails for Import: - Ensure that you have the exported emails in a compatible format. Common formats include PST (Outlook), MBOX (Thunderbird), EML, or CSV files. 2. Open Your Email Client: - Launch your email client where you want to import the emails. This could be Outlook, Thunderbird, Mail, or any other email client you are using. 3. Access the Import Option: - Look for the import option in your email client. This is usually found in the settings or file menu...

This is usually found in the settings or file menu. The exact location may vary depending on the email client you are using. 4. Select the Emails to Import: - Choose the option to import emails or data from files. This may involve selecting the correct format if prompted. 5. Choose the Destination: - During the import process, you should have the option to select the destination folders for the imported emails. Make sure to map the imported folders to the relevant account folders. 6. Import the Emails: - Proceed with the import process and allow the email client to import all the selected emails into the specified folders. 7. Verify the Import: - Once the import is completed, verify that the emails have been imported into the correct account folders rather than a new "Storage folders" folder. By following these steps, you should be able to import your emails into the respective account folders within your email client. If you encounter any specific issues or need further assistance, please let me know which email client you are using so I can provide more tailored instructions.
