i couldn't restore some minimized programs such as Warcraft3 and FootBallmanager 2010. there wasn't any problems running it if i didn't minimized it at all when i started it up. is it due to a wrong properties allocation? i ran it with compatability on windows vista.

It seems like you're encountering an issue with restoring minimized programs like Warcraft 3 and Football Manager 2010 on your Windows system. This issue may not necessarily be related to compatibility settings with Windows Vista. Here are a few steps you can try to troubleshoot and potentially fix this problem: 1. Check Taskbar Settings: - Right-click on the Taskbar and go to "Taskbar settings." - Ensure that the option for "Automatically hide the taskbar in desktop mode" is turned off. 2. Use Alt + Tab: - Press Alt + Tab to cycle through open windows and see if you can locate the minimized programs. 3. Check Display Settings: - Sometimes programs might be opening off-screen. Try the following: - Right-click the taskbar and select "Cascade windows." - Right-click the program's taskbar button and click on "Move," then use the arrow keys to move the window back on screen. 4. Change Compatibility Settings: - If you are running the programs in compatibility mode, try disabling it and see if the issue persists. - Right-click on the program's shortcut or .exe file and go to Properties. - Navigate to the Compatibility tab and uncheck the box that says "Run this program in compatibility mode for." - Apply the changes and test the programs again. 5. Update Graphics Drivers: - Ensure your graphics drivers are up to date. Outdated drivers can sometimes cause display-related issues. 6. Restart Explorer.exe: - Sometimes restarting the Windows Explorer process can resolve window management issues. You can do this by: - Pressing Ctrl + Shift + Esc to open Task Manager. - Locate "Windows Explorer" in the list of processes, right-click it, and choose "Restart." Try these steps and see if they help in restoring the minimized programs properly. If the issue persists, feel free to provide more details for further assistance.
