Rescue Disk cannot be created error 0X80070057

    7 systemimage etl files plus one wdadmin. Why?

    The etl files can be opened with Windows Event Viewer to probably find out what the hell is going on.

    I checked out the latest etl with event viewer. Personally I see nothing that would cause this parameter error. There is a repeated error that was eliminated by setting the RPC Locator service to automatic; if I zip up the etls and upload them would you please look over them. Thanks in advance.

    Due to no reply I am assuming your found little if anything of interest in the etl files.
    For my case at least here is what solved the problem. I moved the c:\windows\recovery folder to a flash drive and everything worked perfectly after that. Somehow the contents of that folder was "confusing" the computer.
