Windows 7 restoring back to vista hp computer question

hi, i have windows vista home premmy and my computer is a custome built hp(hewwit packard or what ever) and one of the fetures on my computer is when i reboot the computer i have a option to restore it to factory condition it is a full wipe im not sure if it has to do with the partitions but my question is if i upgrade to windows 7 will i later be able to restore it to factory condition vista?

no once aug 31 hits it stops working. no chance of downgrading or upgradeing to windows 7 os when it comes out no matter what you will have to reformat that drive when it expires

The Beta Period actually ends on August 1, 2009 and as he said you will have to do a complete reinstall otherwise microsoft would make no money. I dont believe the actual windows 7 version will be released until at least two months after the end of the period. So have an image backup of vista ready incase you need to revert back to it.
