I have determined this to be a graphics card or GPU driver probelm
I am running a catleap 27' with the 7850 and using teh dual dvi cable that the catleap came with.
Randomly about every few seconds small areas on the screen become pixelated with little boxes of colors.
I went to device manager and disabled the display adapter labeled "AMD Radeon HD 7800 Series" and this took care of the problem. So i would assume it is a probelm with the card or the driver. Anyone have any ideas??
BTW: as soon as I move the window or move another windows over the effected area it goes away.

Here are a few pics of my screen so you understand better what I am talking about.

Solution
It seems like you are facing pixelation issues on your screen, possibly related to your graphics card or GPU driver. The fact that disabling the display adapter resolved the problem suggests that it may indeed be a driver or hardware issue. Here are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot and potentially resolve this problem: 1. Update Graphics Drivers: - Firstly, ensure that your GPU drivers are up to date. You can download the latest drivers from the AMD website or by using AMD's driver update tool. 2. Reinstall Graphics Drivers: - Try reinstalling the graphics drivers. Sometimes, a fresh installation can resolve driver-related issues. 3. Check Cable Connections: - Make sure that the dual DVI cable connecting your...

Check Cable Connections: - Make sure that the dual DVI cable connecting your monitor to the GPU is properly connected and not damaged. You can try using a different cable to see if the issue persists. 4. Monitor for Overheating: - Monitor the temperature of your GPU using software like MSI Afterburner or AMD Radeon Software. Overheating can sometimes cause display artifacts. 5. Check for Hardware Issues: - If updating or reinstalling drivers doesn't help, there might be a hardware issue with the GPU. In such cases, it could be beneficial to consult a professional or consider replacing the GPU if it's under warranty. The screenshots you provided would have been helpful to further analyze the issue visually, but unfortunately, direct links cannot be followed. If you can provide more details or describe the pixelation patterns, it might help in diagnosing the problem more accurately. Feel free to try these steps and let me know if you need further assistance!
