Hi,

I'm trying to install this graphics card on my system with no luck at all.

The kind shop that built the PC put it in and didn't bother to install any drivers.

I have been on the sapphire website and tried to install the drivers - though not quite sure of the specific memory some are 512 and some are 1GB models, not sure how to tell this but I have tried a couple?

Anyway, windows will not recognise this graphics card under any circumstances, it simply reads 'standard VGA graphics adaptor' whatever you try and do. I'm trying to set up 2 monitors so monitor comes on but is not recognised as a secondary monitor.

Any ideas?

My system is running Win 7 64 bit with all updates installed.

Thanks,

Martin

Try this:
  1. Click Start.
  2. On the Start menu, click Run.
  3. In the Open box, type "dxdiag" (without the quotation marks), and then click OK.
  4. The DirectX Diagnostic Tool opens. Click the Display tab.
  5. On the Display tab, information about your graphics card is shown in the Device section. You can see the name of your card, as well as how much video memory it has.
This is were you download the latest driver for your GPU.
