Sapphire Radeon HD 3650 AGP SOLVED!!

Hi, so last night i installed Windows 7 Professional 32 bit on my computer. And apparently windows 7 doesn't read my graphic card the way it should and it only displayed 'Standard VGA Graphic Adapter' under Device Manager. I installed 9.8,9.9 APG Hotfix and 9.10 vista32_win7_32_dd_ccc_wdm_enu but it still doesn't read it as Radeon HD 3650 and still shows Standard VGA Graphic Adapter, which means i can't run windows aero and i can't play any game.... and i was wondering if anyone out there might have the same problem before and figured a way to solve it, please help. Thanks in advance.:D

It seems like you are facing issues with your Sapphire Radeon HD 3650 AGP graphics card not being recognized properly after installing Windows 7 Professional 32-bit. The device manager shows it as a 'Standard VGA Graphic Adapter' instead of the Radeon HD 3650, which is causing problems with Windows Aero and gaming. To resolve this issue, you can try the following steps: 1. Driver Update: - Make sure you have the correct drivers for your graphics card. Sometimes, installing the drivers in compatibility mode can help. You might need to install older drivers that are compatible with Windows 7. 2. Update Drivers in Device Manager: - Right-click on the 'Standard VGA Graphic Adapter' in Device Manager and select 'Update Driver...

Update Drivers in Device Manager: - Right-click on the 'Standard VGA Graphic Adapter' in Device Manager and select 'Update Driver Software.' Try to manually point to the folder where you have the graphics card driver files. 3. AMD Driver Download: - Visit the AMD website to download the latest drivers specifically for your Radeon HD 3650 AGP for Windows 7 32-bit. 4. Driver Signature Enforcement: - Sometimes, driver signature enforcement can cause issues with driver installation. You can try disabling it temporarily to install the drivers. 5. Compatibility Mode: - Install the drivers in compatibility mode. Right-click on the driver installer, go to Properties, Compatibility tab, and select compatibility for an older version of Windows. 6. Clean Driver Installation: - Uninstall any existing graphics drivers completely using DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller) and then try installing the drivers again. 7. BIOS Settings: - Check your BIOS settings to ensure that the AGP slot is configured correctly and that AGP support is enabled. By following these steps, you should be able to get your Radeon HD 3650 AGP graphics card recognized correctly in Windows 7, allowing you to enjoy Windows Aero and gaming without any issues.
