screen mirrowing not working: windows laptop HDMI port to HP Z27 monitor DP port

Hello

My windows 11 laptop Nitro AN515-55 is connected via an HDMI-to-DP cable with a HP Z27 monitor. The monitor is not getting a signal. The graphics driver is uptodate. Windows is uptodate. I checked the common fixes suggested online, but that did not solve the issue. I can mirrow the display of my macbook via an USB-C cable.

Anyone knows what could be the problem?

Have you checked to verify the monitor is on the correct input?
Does the monitor have power?
Is the laptop set to extended display? (Windows key + P), select 'Extend'
