It seems like you are experiencing an issue with your screen saver not working on your Windows 7 PC. There could be several reasons why this is happening. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot and potentially resolve the issue: 1. Scan for Malware: - Run a full scan of your system with an antivirus program to check for any malware that could be causing the issue. 4. Check for Software Conflicts: - Sometimes third-party software can interfere with the proper functioning of the screen saver. Try disabling startup programs or software that may be causing conflicts. 5. Reset Screen Saver Settings: - Go to Control Panel > Personalization > Screen Saver and select a different screen saver. Apply the changes and then switch back to your preferred screen saver. 6. Check System Files: - Use the System File Checker tool to scan and repair corrupted system files. Open Command Prompt as an administrator and run the command sfc /scannow. 7. System Restore: - If the issue started recently, consider using System Restore to revert your system back to a point where the screen saver was working correctly. 8. Update Windows: - Ensure that your Windows 7 system is up to date with the latest updates and patches. Sometimes, Windows updates can address such issues. If none of these solutions work, it might be helpful to know if there have been any recent changes or updates to your system that could have triggered the problem. It would also be good to gather more information about your system configuration to provide more targeted assistance. If you have tried these steps or need further assistance, feel free to provide more details so that I can offer more tailored advice.
