Windows Vista Seeking Help with Registry Issues Preventing Counter-Strike from Launching on Vista

i got vista buisness from yesterday im new at vista ..
when im try to play counter-strike (i dont know who know this game) from steam and he told me thet the game cannot start becuse he cant change the registry
what im asking is what i need to do ?
vista dont allow registry changes... how can i change this setting?

Hi to alter the registry to need to type 'regedit' in the run box (without the quotation marks) and the registry will be revealed. Be VERY carefull though this is an area that is capable of killing your Vista install if your not using the utmost care. If you post back what you need to do I can probably point you in the right direction...
