My house has a router[WPA@] to the desktop and this network allows the laptop to join.
My daughter has a network without a router and her Verizon modem/router is set to WEP which she needs for remote access to work and won't change.
To keep my configuration when I move in, is it advisable to buy another line from Verizon and use the setup I had in my house, or can I use an ethernet splitter to have our own setups on each seperate side of the switch?
I also have a non wireless router I am not using if it would help with this.
Thank you
