Here's the scenario: I have two PC's with Windows 7. They're both members of the same HomeGroup. They can see and access each others libraries through HomeGroup sharing. All that is fine, but there something specific I want to achieve. I want to share a standard folder to my HomeGroup. Now I know there are two ways of doing this. 1. Creating a New library, add the folder I want to share to that library. And share that library with the HomeGroup. This works. And I've tested it. 2. There's also another option. I'm in the folder that I want to share to my HomeGroup. I click the "Share With" menu item and choose "HomeGroup (Read)". Now... where do I find that folder on the other computers? Because they're not showing up under the regular HomeGroup section in explorer. I think just sharing a folder, rather than adding it to a library is easier, but maybe that's just me. Any help is appreciated .
