I'm using the default Windows 7 power settings. Sometimes when I come out of Sleep Mode I get a full boot instead of simply "waking up." I am then met by a screen saying that Windows was shut down improperly. Has anyone else seen this? Anything I can do to stop it?

Solution
Try going to Control Panel > Power Options, click the Change Advanced Power option and choose each item in the list and change accordingly.

Otherwise, the best information is in Help and Support

Type in laptop power or Battery Life.
