In Windows 7 Pro, once Speech Recognition is turned on, I want to invoke keyboard commands that have more than 2 keys. In Photoshop, for instance, Save for Web is Ctrl+Alt+Shift+S. If I say: Press Control plus Alt plus Shift plus S, nothing happens. Is there a way to invoke commands that reference more than 2 keys? Does anyone know if Dragon software is able to do this?

A little background: I have a Cintiq, and Speech Recognition is a good alternative to trying to remember all the buttons and their meaning in different apps. I've already tried this approach to change tools by pressing the related key: Press B for Brush, for example. Except for a small lag, this looks very promising as an alternative to fumbling with a keyboard at my side.

Thanks!

In Windows 7 Pro, when using Speech Recognition, invoking keyboard commands that involve more than two keys, such as Ctrl+Alt+Shift+S in Photoshop, can be challenging. Speech Recognition in Windows typically works well for simpler commands and sequences, but it may struggle with complex multi-key combinations like the one you mentioned. Here are some suggestions to possibly achieve invoking commands that reference more than two keys: 1. Create Custom Shortcuts: You can create custom keyboard shortcuts within applications like Photoshop to mimic the complex key combinations with a simpler set of keys that are easier for Speech Recognition to recognize. 2. Third-Party Software: Using third-party software like AutoHotkey might offer more flexibility in creating and executing complex key combinations through speech commands. Regarding Dragon software, it is known for its advanced voice recognition capabilities and may have better support for complex multi-key commands like Ctrl+Alt+Shift+S. Dragon NaturallySpeaking (now known as Dragon Professional Individual) has been used in the past for tasks like this, but it's essential to check the specific compatibility and features of the version you plan to use. Given your positive experience using Speech Recognition for simpler commands and the convenience it offers with your Cintiq, exploring the additional features that Dragon software provides could potentially enhance your workflow further. Would you like assistance in finding more information about the capabilities of Dragon software in handling complex key combinations through voice commands? This could help you determine if it aligns with your requirements for using Speech Recognition effectively with applications like Photoshop.
