I just got a new Windows 7 computer. I went ahead and followed the instructions and downloaded the recommended upgrades, there were a bunch of them.

Now when I start up, I get a message that says that the system is looking for something called Mom.implementation. I assume it's from one of the several things I installed at Dell's request.

I'd sure be grateful if someone could please tell me how to get rid of the error message.

Startup Error

Google has a few hits saying that it is all related to ATI catalyst software, and .net framework. Onse site suggests installing .netframework 1.1

Joe,

Could you please fill in your computer specs in the UserCP link at the top left hand side of the page.

Then click Edit Your Details.

This freeware program will give you all the information you will need:

SIV (System Information Viewer) 4.03

The exact make and model of your graphics card would be a of great help,.

Open the start menu. type in "msconfig" and open the exe.
Navigate to the startup tab and tell us what's listed.
