Hi.

I had this strange internet connection issue for couple of days. i have tried format and reinstall win 7 couple of time. my wireless connects to the home network. i can browse through IE or firefox i can do some of other internet related thing. but few things not geting internet: 1. activation. i have to activate through phone; 2. outlook 2007 using PRC over http. exchange will connect if i VPN back and we are using self signed certificate; 3. windows live messeger install program (the one will start with download the actual install pack) so not the offline install file. can't find internet in that program and always errors out.

just hoping someone can give me hand to find a solution.

Windows Live Messenger Installation: - If the program is unable to find the internet connection during installation: - Check your firewall settings to ensure that Windows Live Messenger is allowed to access the internet. - Temporarily disable any security software and try the installation again. - Download the offline installer for Windows Live Messenger and try installing it that way if the online installer continues to fail. For a more detailed and specific resolution to each issue, you may need to provide additional information such as error messages or codes that you encounter during these processes. Feel free to share more details if you have them, so we can assist you further.
