Windows 7 Struggling with Internet Connectivity on Windows 7: Possible RPC Virus?

I have recently been having problems with windows 7 when trying to use the internet. It will work fine for a while but then all of a sudden it will stop finding web pages and any downloads etc i have going on. After restarting it works fine again but only for a short period of time.

I checked the Action Center and I got an action called "Remove RPC Virus virus", i've looked everywhere for some information on this and why it seems to be affecting me. When I clicked on the action the only information I was given was to try and instal some anti-virus programs. I've tried running several different anti-virus programs and anti malware programs but they don't seen to find any problems..

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
