Windows 7 System Restore Points with full or only partial Registry backup?

Assume I create a System Restore Point.
Is a full Registry backup included?
or only a partial backup for all branches which are core Windows 7 related?

By the way: Is each SRP independent from the others?

If I delete lets say the 3rd out of 5 SRPs.
Are the two 2 SRPs following the third still valid?

Or do SRP depend from the preceding chain of SRPs (because they are only a kind of differential, delta backups)
