It sounds like you're trying to modify the properties of a game shortcut on your Windows 7 desktop but are facing an issue where the target area in the properties is faded and you can't click on it. Here's a step-by-step guide on how you can modify the target field of a shortcut on Windows 7 even if it appears faded or unclickable: 1. Create a Copy of the Shortcut: - Right-click on the game shortcut icon on your desktop. - Select "Copy" from the context menu. - Right-click on an empty area of your desktop. - Choose "Paste" to create a duplicate of the shortcut. 2. Modify Properties of the Duplicate Shortcut: - Right-click on the duplicated game shortcut. - Select "Properties" from the context menu. 3. Accessing the Target...

Accessing the Target Field: - In the shortcut properties window, go to the "Shortcut" tab. - The "Target" field should contain the path to the game executable. - If the target field is faded or unclickable, you can manually edit it by clicking inside the field and using the keyboard. 4. Manually Editing the Target Field: - Use the right arrow key on your keyboard to move the cursor to the right and reach the end of the existing path. - Add any additional parameters or details you need to include after the existing path. - Make sure to leave a space between the end of the existing path and the new text you are adding. 5. Save Changes: - After making the necessary modifications, click "Apply" and then "OK" to save the changes. By following these steps, you should be able to add or modify the target field of the game shortcut on your Windows 7 desktop. If you encounter any difficulties or have any further questions, feel free to ask!
