Well guys, it seems like my Mobo died last Wednesday, as when I turn it on, it says that the BIOS is corrupt. So, time for a new system. So, what do you think of the following components?

CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad Q9300 Yorkfield 2.5GHz 6MB L2 Cache

GPU: XFX PVT98FYDF9 GeForce 9800 GTX(G92) 512MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP

I think it's very kick-ass. Although, I'm not sure about the 9800, for the price.
You can get an 8800GT for like $100 cheaper.

Yorkfield is the latest ones right?
go to www.forums.overclockers.co.uk and do a spec check - they'll give you a good recommendation.

About the 9800GTX - if money isn't an issue get it, but I'd recommend you just get an 8800GTX. The XFX ones in Britain are going for £150 GBP so I presume cheaper in the U.S.
What monitor do you have?

Well, my desktop monitor is a Samsung SyncMaster 173P, but I have a 40" LCD HDTV connected to my PC as well, and since the 9800GTX has HDMI, I wanted that one.

Anyway, thanks for the link, I'll check it out. ;)
