Windows 7 Tomb Raider Anniversary on Win7 -installation problem

I am using Windows 7 64-bit on a brand new computer and am having a problem installing Tomb Raider Anniversary. I can open the TRA.exe and run it but when I click "install", the installer just closes and nothing happens.
Can anyone help?

Have you tried right clicking on it (TRA.exe) choosing properties and then change the compatibility to something like vista or xp?

I did the above (changed the compatibility to XP) and it worked. Thank you.
