Windows 11 Trouble installing printers

I am trying to install a couple of network printers onto my new windows11 laptop. I get the error 0x00000709 when trying to install both printers. I have a HP 5 Laserjet (parallel port) and a HP Inkjet 7500 (USB) on a desktop computer with both Windows OS 7 and 10.

1. Double-Check Basic Connection​

• For Network Printers:
  • Verify the printer is powered on and connected to the same network as your computer.
  • Ping the printer’s IP address:

• For USB Printers:
  • Test with another USB port or cable.

2. Manually Install a Generic Printer Driver​

2. Click Add a Printer and select The printer that I want isn’t listed.
3. Choose Add a local printer or network printer with manual settings.
4. Select Generic > Generic/Text Only Driver, then follow the prompts.

3. Clean Up Old Drivers​

1. Open Print Management (printmanagement.msc):
   • Remove old printer driver packages under the Drivers section.
2. Manually delete driver files:

4. Restart Print Spooler Service​

7. Driver Store Cleanup​
