Windows 7 Trouble Receiving Hotmail Emails on Windows 7 – Need Alternative Email Suggestions

I have been a user of Hotmail for years long before windows 7. Now I am having oroblems since I have windows 7. My daughter sends me loads of emails from New Zealand and I only get a few, I have checked everything I can but no luck but if she sends them to my other address I get them all.

I want to give another Email ago but not Windows Live can anyone help with a name.

I would recommend using Gmail. Excellent email provider, very configurable and great spam detection.

Easy to set up too. Also you can transfer your address book and such over to Gmail.

So are you looking for another type of email client? First try uninstalling WLE 2011 that has WLM, then reinstall it. If your looking for additional email clients, Outlook from MS Office is a good..I use it (outlook 2010), Incredimail, Foxmail and the list goes on. Doing a simple google search opens up a wide list of apps.

BF - maybe I'm confused or what. I thought he wanted another email service.

I would recommend Thunderbird if he wants an email client, plus your suggestions are good too.
