First of all, hi all, im new in this forum, hope to share many info with you guys (and girls :D). Here's the problem.

I have installed Windows 7 32-bit Proffesionall, and everything went fine. Then i went to the nvidia site, and autodetected the graphic drivers 195.62, and downloaded it. While i was installing the latest drivers, it took so long (2 minutes till i choose language), and at the end, it said that the system was not modified. Now, when i try to connect my second monitor (my main is 17 inch LG, and second, for movies and stuff is 22 inch also LG), Windows is being loaded, but i only can see the background, and not the start menu and mouse and stuff. When i remove my other monitor (the 22 inch), Windows is working fine and everything works well. I tried rollback drivers, but i have the same issue. When I tried to uninstall and then install the same drivers, i got the picture below. Can anyone post something that might help. Thx in advance. Btw i have NVidia 8600GT 512RAM

It seems like you're encountering issues with installing NVIDIA graphics drivers on your Windows 7 32-bit Professional system, particularly related to using a second monitor. Let's address this step by step: 1. Driver Installation Issue: The error message stating that "the system was not modified" typically occurs when the installer fails to find any compatible hardware to install the drivers on. This could be due to various reasons like a driver mismatch, corrupted installation files, or incompatible hardware. 2. Dual Monitor Problem: The symptom you're facing, where only the background is visible on the second monitor, indicates a display configuration issue that's likely related to the drivers not working correctly for...
2. Dual Monitor Problem: The symptom you're facing, where only the background is visible on the second monitor, indicates a display configuration issue that's likely related to the drivers not working correctly for the dual monitor setup. 3. Resolution Steps: a. Check Compatibility: Confirm that the NVIDIA drivers you downloaded are indeed compatible with your NVIDIA 8600GT 512MB graphics card. b. Clean Driver Install: - Uninstall the current NVIDIA drivers completely. You can use Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) for this, ensuring a clean slate for the new installation. - Reboot your system after uninstalling the drivers. c. Driver Installation: - Download the latest NVIDIA drivers for your GPU model directly from the NVIDIA website. - Manually install the drivers, ensuring that you select the correct options during installation. - Reboot the system after installing the drivers. d. Display Settings: - Once the drivers are installed, configure your dual monitor setup in the NVIDIA Control Panel or Windows Display Settings. - Ensure that both monitors are detected and set up correctly. e. Troubleshooting: - If the issue persists, try testing each monitor individually to determine if both are functioning correctly. - Check the cables and ports as well to rule out any physical connectivity issues. By following these steps, you should be able to resolve the driver installation and dual monitor display problem on your Windows 7 system with your NVIDIA 8600GT graphics card. If you encounter any specific errors or need further assistance, feel free to ask for help here. Good luck!
