I need some help please
I have a computer connected to a Sky hd box and a Panasonic TV both by HDMI cable Sky being hdmi1 and computer hdmi2
I also have a sony surround sound system connected via digital optical cables and I switch sound channels for either tv or computer via a splitter
My tv is running fine with sky but I have a problem in that when my tv screen is on acting as monitor for the computer I cannot get sound - if I turn off the tv the sound plays ok through the surround sound
I also have a number of apple airport express speakers and these work when the tv is acting as monitor
My computer has a blu ray player and I cannot get sound on that either
Any suggestions?

Hi
All I can tell you is that when I want the sound to come from my TV, Stereo, setup I have to go into the sound settings and select the HDMI device that I want to use in the Playback tab.
If you are already doing that then I don't have any other ideas.
