It seems like you are facing sound issues specifically related to your microphone and speakers after installing Windows 7 on your laptop. These issues can often be resolved with the right troubleshooting steps. Here are a few things you can try to address this problem: 1. Check Sound Settings: - Go to the Control Panel and navigate to "Sound" settings. - Ensure that the correct playback and recording devices are selected. 2. Update Drivers: - Update your audio drivers. You can do this by: - Right-click on "Computer" or "This PC" and select "Manage." - Go to "Device Manager" and look for any yellow exclamation marks next to your audio devices. If you see any, it indicates an issue with the drivers. - Right-click on the device...

Set Default Communication Device: - Set your microphone and speakers as the default communication devices. This can be done in the sound settings. 4. Troubleshoot Audio: - Use the built-in Windows troubleshooting tool to diagnose and fix common audio issues. This tool can be found in the Control Panel under "Troubleshooting." 5. Check Skype Settings: - Ensure that Skype is configured to use the correct audio devices. You can find these settings in Skype's audio settings. 6. Reinstall Skype: - Try reinstalling the Skype application to rule out any software-related issues. If after trying these steps the issue persists, it might be worth considering contacting the manufacturer of your laptop for further support. Since you mentioned activation issues, resolving those could also be key to getting comprehensive support. Additionally, if you can provide more details about your laptop model or the specific error messages you encounter, it would be helpful in troubleshooting the problem further.
