Sooooo I have no idea why this file will not delete.
I had a simple .wav file called welcome.wav
It was placed on the desktop
When making a copy of it, (the copy was on the desktop, too) I accidentally named it "welcome.wav."
If you can't see, this copied file had a period at the end of it. Windows took the file name.
What was strange is when I tried to delete the "welcome.wav." it just deleted the original .wav, while this bizzaro file remained.
WHen I tried to delete it again, it told me that "Welcome.wav" does not exist on the drive, and to try again.
I have tried every kind of forceful deletion program and cannot get rid of it. Does anyone know what I can do? It would not be too much of a problem if it was not ON MY DESKTOP
