Windows 7 uninstalling software

does anybody know how to uninstall the veetle player. there is one folder thats called uninstall that doesn't uninstall . when i try a message says folder or files are used by other programs thanks for any help

Have you tried through Control Panel, Programs and Components, Uninstall?

I don't know what veetle player is. But open Msconfig and look under the startup tab
If the veetle is showing as starting with the computer, untick it and restart. You should then be able to uninstall it.

Once of the best Uninstaller i have seen is Revo Uninstaller (Free Edition). Use the Hunter Mode in that Tool it will help you removing all the left over entries. Make sure you read this Ferquently Asked Questions About Revo Uninstaller - Uninstall software, remove programs, solve uninstall problems before proceeding.

I think the above posts will sort the issue for you.

If for some strange reason they don't, you can use safe mode to uninstall. The files/folders will not be locked then.
