My computer:
CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E6750
Motherboard: P5KR
VGA: 8800GT 512MB
RAM: 6GB DDR2

1) When I play some game, somethimes I don't hear my friends talking at ventrilo and after lag I hear everything what they said during a minute...
I tryed to change priority of ventrilo to belownormal, high or realtime but later win7 changes it back. Is some fix for it<

2) I have Logitech G15 and Roccat Kone. And I still feel little lag during playing games. I know it's not much, but gamers who play games like counter-strike 1.6 for a long time, know what I am talking about. I think it's in every game. So I can't be so precise at aiming. Can somebody fix that? (And yes, I have updated ALL drivers to the newest and Roccat released new drivers and firmware for windows7)

PS:Sorry for my bad English. :)
Thnx for every advice.

Solution
It seems like you're experiencing a couple of issues while gaming on your computer. Let's address each of them:

Issue 1: Voice Chat Lag in Ventrilo

  • Problem: You're noticing delays in hearing your friends on Ventrilo while gaming, followed by catching up on missed audio after a lag spike.
  • Solution: One common fix for this issue involves adjusting the priority of the Ventrilo process, but as you mentioned, Windows 7 changes it back. You can try running Ventrilo as an administrator to see if that provides more stability with the priority setting. Here's how:
  1. Right-click on the Ventrilo shortcut.
  2. Select "Properties."

Issue 2: Input Lag with Gaming Peripherals

    • Problem: You're experiencing slight input lag with your Logitech G15 keyboard and Roccat Kone mouse, impacting your precision in games like Counter-Strike 1.6.
    • Solution: Input lag can be caused by various factors, including hardware performance, driver issues, or even software conflicts. Here are some steps to address this:
[]Check USB Ports: Ensure your peripherals are connected to USB 2.0 ports for optimal performance. []Update Firmware: Make sure both the Logitech G15 keyboard and Roccat Kone mouse have their firmware updated to the latest versions. []Disable Unused Programs: Close any background programs that might be consuming resources and causing interference. []Driver Updates: Confirm you have the latest drivers for your gaming peripherals installed.
  5. Mouse DPI Settings: Adjust the DPI settings on your Roccat Kone mouse to find a sensitivity that suits your gaming style.
By following these steps, you might be able to improve the performance of your gaming peripherals and reduce input lag while gaming. If the issues persist, consider reaching out to the support channels of Ventrilo and the manufacturers of your peripherals for further assistance. Your English is perfectly fine, and no need to apologize! If you need more help or clarification, feel free to ask.
