i've tried to google it, i've tried to search the problem on ventrillo.com but nothing says anything about not connecting to server. so now my question here.. does anybody have/had the same problem and does some1 know how to fix this.

in the screen you can see what happens, this is when i press connect. it just freezes, while he should connect in a few seconds

Link Removed due to 404 Error

what i allready tried.

un-install it
re-install it
tried to compare the settings with some friend's ventrillo.

ohyes strangest thing, when i un-installed it. i went to my regedit and deleted every single vent file! everything that had any thing to do with vent i deleted.
i go to my chrome and download vent again. i install it.

to my suprise! all the server that ive saved on the previous installation! this would mean that i did not delete every file? pretty strange.

but can any1 help me?

It seems like you are facing an issue with Ventrilo where it freezes when you try to connect. This can be frustrating, but there are some steps you can take to troubleshoot and potentially resolve the problem. Here are a few suggestions you can try: 1. Firewall and Antivirus Settings: - Check to ensure that your firewall and antivirus software are not blocking Ventrilo. You may need to add Ventrilo to the exceptions list in these programs. 2. Compatibility Mode: - Try running Ventrilo in compatibility mode. Right-click on the Ventrilo shortcut or executable, go to Properties, and then the Compatibility tab. Enable compatibility mode for an earlier version of Windows. 3. Run as Administrator: - Right-click on the...

Enable compatibility mode for an earlier version of Windows. 3. Run as Administrator: - Right-click on the Ventrilo shortcut and select "Run as Administrator." This can sometimes resolve issues related to permissions. 4. Check Network Connection: - Ensure that your internet connection is stable. A poor connection can cause issues with connecting to Ventrilo servers. 5. Reinstall with Clean Registry: - When uninstalling Ventrilo, ensure you delete any remaining Ventrilo folders in the following locations: - C:\Program Files\Ventrilo - C:\Users\YourUsername\AppData\Roaming\Ventrilo 6. Update Ventrilo: - Make sure you are using the latest version of Ventrilo. An outdated version may have compatibility issues. 7. Contact Ventrilo Support: - If none of the above solutions work, you may want to reach out to Ventrilo support for further assistance. They may have specific troubleshooting steps for your issue. Regarding the issue with the saved server information persisting after a reinstallation, it's likely that Ventrilo stores this data in a separate location from where the program files are installed. It could be saved in the registry or in a configuration file that is not removed when uninstalling the program. Try these steps and see if they help resolve the connection issue with Ventrilo. If you continue to experience problems, don't hesitate to reach out for further assistance. Good luck!
