Hey, guys! I just have a quick question. I have installed many games recently and most all of them have some version of the Visual C++ Redistributable Packages included. So, if I were to download all of the packages (2005, 2008, 2010, 2012, 2013) and install them prior to installing any games... could I bypass that when I install my games?
Hi Alex,
I don't think so. The reason I say this is because if you have a game already using Visual C++ any new games installed still seem to require their own version. The dev does this to ensure their game will run. This webpage shines a bit more light on it: http://superuser.com/questions/1734...erent-visual-c-redistributables/619114#619114
