Bad Score 2

So why is my score so low at an amazinging low 2?

Processor AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 4400+ 4.9
Memory (RAM) 4.00 GB 4.9
Graphics NVIDIA Quadro FX 3400/4400 5.9
Gaming graphics 751 MB Total available graphics memory 2.0
Primary hard disk 243GB Free (298GB Total) 5.9

I have a Quadro FX 4400 graphics card which should be plentyful.... can anyone shed any light as to why it's only 2 for gaming graphics?

It's rated at 2 because it's set at whatever your lowest score is. I thought the Quadro cards were for workstations and not gaming, maybe that's why it only registers a 2?

using asus G60VX-RBBX05

Processor = 5.9
Memory = 6.1
Graphics = 6.8
Gaming Graphics = 6.8
Primary Hard Disk = 5.9
Price $999 = 7.9

no overclocking was done yet. no heating issues. playing COD4, crysis at high settings with no problems.

What is your your windows 7 performance Index Score

What is your score my score is 5.9

I get this

CPU: 6.2 >> AMD Athlon X2 7750BE 2700MHz 2MB L3
MEMORY: 7.2 >> 2x Corsair Dominator DHX TWIN2x2048-8500C5D (4x 1GB)
GRAPHICS:7.4 >> HIS Radeon HD5770Fan 1024MB GDDR5 cclk 850MHz memclk 1200MHz
GAMING : 7.4 >> HIS Radeon HD5770Fan 1024MB GDDR5 cclk 850MHz memclk 1200MHz
HDD: 5.9 >> Raid0 2x western digital WD2500AAJS (250GB) 7200rpm 8MB cache HDD's

looks like I'll need to go SSD's to get a better HDD score or maybe a couple of WD velociraptors in RAID0

Same here, no SSD => I get 5,9:

CPU: Core 2 Quad 9400 7,2
RAM: 8Gb Kingston (2 GB x 4) 7,2
Graphics: Sapphire ATI 4850 1 Gb 7,3
Gaming: Sapphire ATI 4850 1 Gb 7,3
HDD: 640 Gb Maxtor (320 x 2) RAID 5,9 :(

i wonder who and what got the single 7~7.9 score

I also wonder if having HDD's with bigger onboard Cache would get an above 5.9 score

Base Score = 5.9

as for those with CF or SLI setups if you botherd to read about scores you'd see that WEI only tests the primary graphics card and states that should you be using the likes of CF or SLI your performance may exceed the rating given

well according to the log cybercore voted 7-7.9 but in is post he says he only got 5.9 in order to acheive a perfect 7.9 in everything you need an 8 core proccessor 8 GB or morw of low latency memory and good timings a top of the line graphics card possibly a dual card setup and a SSD hard drive. on your other post i have the best and fastest regular hard drive you can buy for a home computer and the best i can get is 5.9 you have to have SSD

I really would like to get an SSD to replace the HDD raid0 array but the cost for a 128GB SSD is prohibitively expensive Intel X25-E 64GB $1,912.50NZD shoot for that much i could build an entire PC.. but then i don't think the WEI distinguishes between a single HDD and an RAID0 array very well i mean come on 5.9 really last time i looked my raid 0 array is significantly faster in read/write ops than just a single WD2500AAJS HDD

Total 3.4 based on my low graphics score.
Might be higher if my graphics card had more discrete memory.

Very responsive system.

I don't use the eyecandy or game so the low graphics score don't concern me much.

My hard drive is a Seagate Momentus 7200 rpm device and I'm sure that accounts for the high
drive score.

Using BootRacer I consistently get boot scores of
~30 seconds to login
~42 seconds to fully functional desktop

I would love to see these numbers with a SSD.

Too expensive at this time.

Boot time is important to me because I shut down my machine after use.

Just rebuilt my pc. Got a 5.9
Phenom II X4 3.0 GHz, 4MB ram, WD Caviar Black 1TB, Gigabyte GeForce 260 GTX GV-NVSO Super Overclocked. If HDD were ignored, I would get a 7.3

My score for the hd is only 5.9 It is a WD 500 Sata, being a sata connection should it not be higher.
Can anyone explain this or how to increase the rating??

Thanks

to get a better than 5.9 score your going to have to go the SSD way as not even 2 WD500 drives in an RAID0 array is going to get you better
