Windows 7 What is your Windows 7 performance index score?

What is your Base Score?

*kicks graphics card* Does anyone know if you can overclock an integrated gcard by Intel? :p
Despite that, it does run Aero perfectly at 1024x768. Hooking it up to a monitor is madness in terms of lag, but...

My scores seem a bit low

Core i7 920 @ 3.85ghz
12gig DDR3 @ 1570mhz
(2) SSD 64GB Warp Drives Raid 1 (System Disk)
(2) 750GB 7200 RPM Seagate Barracuda Raid 1 (Storage)
(2) GTX 285 O/C in SLI
(1) 9800GT dedicated physX

I have SLI GTX 285's is it true that the Windows Performace Index does not factor in SLI and only tests the primary card?

Hmm interesting enough mine is only a 2.9. This is on a Dual Core 3.16 w/4g RAM running Win7 64bit. Graphics card is a Gforce 8800 GT x 2 (SLI). Whats ironic is my iMac which has a slower processor and only 2g RAM gets a 5.0. Go figure.

That seems almost an impossibly low score!
Whic item, as a matter of curiosity, is bringing down your score?

It would be interesting to see what 7 has scored so low.....

Not to be a part pooper mine is in the screenshot.....

Hi Kemical.
I'm sure you have but... have you tried enabling write caching and flushing (through the device manager - Disk drives) It brought mine up a little.

Hi RAK,
yup did that, I don't really pay that much attention to the score anyway.. As long as it does what it's supposed to I'm happy.. I must admit though, I wondered why the score was quite low for the RAID but I think it's only seeing one drive and treating it as such. I know from benching that the actual performance is way above most drives so why it's showing that score is unclear..

Here's mine
Disk transfer rate is the weak link - surprising because I have two WD Raptors in a RAID0. Ohh well.

I'm somewhat amazed that the nvidia 8600 is worthy of 5.8 points since my 8800GTS 640mb only got 5.9 on vista...(7.1 on win7)

Base score: 3.3

AMD Athlon x2 5000+ oc'd to 3000 mhz - 6.1
Crucial DDR2 800 RAM 4 gb (512 used by video card) - 5.9
Graphics - 3.3
ATI 780 G mobo with on board ATI 3200 HD with 512 mb RAM (integrated) - 5.1
Seagate 250 gb 7200 RPM hdd - 5.9

What the heck is the "graphics" that it's separated from the gaming graphics? That's a big differential in scores.

My base score is down 0.1 from Vista which rated my hard drives at 5.9 instead of 5.8. The other scores have either gone up or down slightly, especially given the higher ceiling in W7.

Lots of people are posting 5-6 average scores for RAM when I have 4GB 800Mhz DDR2 and so do they, yet I'm scoring a hefty 7.3? It's not overclocked and it's not even high-end RAM either, it's only A-Data Vitesta.

To give you an idea of how fickle the rating system is, I just re-overclocked my Black x2 5000+ from 3000 mhz to 3200 mhz, and it raised my score from 6.1 to 6.3.
