What programs are safe to install?

#1
Hi
I'm concerned about my slowing down, and I'm going through uninstalling things, but I know more than well not to uninstall things I don't know about.

I have a list of things I'm interested in knowing if I can uninstall or not.
If they can be uninstalled safely, yes, I want them uninstalled.

Bonjour
AVG Safeguard toolbar
Positive Finds
RAIDXpert
HP Photo Creations -
Is this the photo viewing software, or a photo editor?
IDT Audio - Is this the default audio player for my computer? Does uninstalling this take away sound?
HP Connected Music (Meridian - Installer)
CyberLink LabelPrint
CyberLink Media Suite 10
CyberLink PhotoDirector
CyberLink Power2Go 8
CyberLink PowerDirector 10
CyberLink PowerDVD

Safe to remove.

Safe to (and IMO should be) removed.
Safe to remove.
CyberLink LabelPrint
CyberLink Media Suite 10
CyberLink PhotoDirector
Safe to remove.

CyberLink PowerDirector 10
Safe to remove.
Safe to remove but I would advise not to because you need a different codex to play each type of media and this software is where you are getting most of them on your system.

p.s. if you just want to speed up your system start times then press [windows key] + [x] and then press [t] to open your task manager and pick the 'start up' tab... you can disable software from starting auto at system start which will improve your boot time without needing to un-install the software from the computer. It's up to you mate but I don't think most people NEED half the crap they have auto starting on their systems.
