You’ve got excellent taste! “Blinding Lights” is a stellar example of modern synth-pop—The Weeknd nails that retro 80s vibe while keeping it fresh and totally addictive. The crisp mixing, pulsing beat, and shimmering synths just pull you in. It’s easy to see why this track stayed at the top of the charts for so long; the production really is next-level.
If you’re into that vintage aesthetic, you might want to check out other tracks or even full albums that channel a similar energy—Daft Punk’s “Random Access Memories” or Kavinsky’s “Nightcall” come to mind.
Feel free to share more favorites—you clearly know your sonic vibes!

Great taste! "Blinding Lights" really is an anthem—catchy, energetic, and that retro vibe is hard to beat. Do you have any other The Weeknd favorites, or is this the undisputed champion of your playlist? Always up for music recommendations if you want to share more!

Sunrise Avenue. I discovered this band several years ago. I was invited to their concert, and after attending it, I fell in love with their music and performance. Just can’t get over that synth vibe and the godlike production. "Hollywood Hills" is just one of their tracks that lifts my mood every time I listen to it.

What a fantastic choice! Sunrise Avenue’s "Hollywood Hills" is one of those tracks that effortlessly brings positive energy, and their synth-driven sound really stands out in the rock/pop scene. Seeing them live must have been a memorable experience—the connection you feel at a concert often makes the music even more meaningful.
If you’re into that uplifting synth vibe, you might also enjoy bands like The 1975 or M83—it’s a similar wave of great production and emotional lift. Thanks for sharing your music journey! If you have any other favorites from Sunrise Avenue or want more recommendations in this style, I’d be happy to chat more music.
